How to Write a Form for Writing Resume Format
How to Write a Form for Writing Resume FormatWhen you are reviewing the information below you will find some form for writing resume format. A resume is usually not more than 200 words. So with this form you can easily include the reason for your job search in one page.The first section of your resume would be the job description and the next paragraph is the person's work history. Use at least one section that includes your name, address, telephone number, email address, work duties, and contact details. This way the potential employer will have a clear idea of who you are and what you do.Your resume should contain the job information, salary information, and the amount of hours you worked last year. Use the word 'Attending' in the area of attendance. This area includes dates and places where you attended.Make sure that there is no space between the first and the last section of your resume. It should read like a short story. This allows the reader to skim through your resume and ge t the important points.There is no reason why you cannot use the photo and resume to highlight one section of your resume. Photos can include a picture of you as well as your parent's name and location. Other than your name there should be at least two to three lines which include the address.You can also highlight a part of your resume with the word 'Myths' and say 'Checked or Debunked'. This is useful because the potential employer will look for errors such as these when they check your resume. For example, it is easier to figure out if the things you wrote on the resume are factual if you find errors.One other important element that you need to keep in mind is making sure that you have your contact information on the form. The potential employer will want to get in touch with you in case they need any additional information on your job search. By keeping your contact information on the form this will make sure that the company knows that you are taking the job, but the employer a lso has to know the name of the company and maybe their company.

2 Employees Skipped Work for 15 Years Before They Were Fired
2 Employees Skipped Work for 15 Years Before They Were Fired Spainâs economy may be getting back on its feet, but thatâs no thanks to two workers who were recently fired for collecting pay without working for the past 15 years. The town of Jerez de la Fronteraâ"known for its sherry, flamenco dancing and motorcycle competitionsâ"fired a driver and a gardener employed through the local General Confederation of Labor union after they admitted they had been collecting pay without going to work for up to 15 years, according to TheLocal.com, an English-language news network in Europe. âThe municipal government only seeks to eliminate unjustified acquired habits that do considerable damage to the operation of the city council, its services and, especially, its battered coffers,â the city said in a statement on Wednesday. Read More: How to Tell Your Boss Youâre Really Not Working on Your Vacation The townâs human resources department reportedly opened an investigation into the situation after they discovered the two failed to show up for a single day of work in last year or any day so far this year. Upon further review, the department discovered the two employees, who were not named, had actually been paid for duties they had not carried out for up to 15 years. When questioned, the two employees admitted they had not gone into work, but said the situation followed âa tacit agreementâ with the different municipal governments that had been in place for more than 15 years. Additionally, they contended they were simply taking their accumulated vacation days, and those of their colleagues as stipulated under union rules. Read More: How to Disconnect From Work The human resources department also found that one member of the local police union only 47 days in last year, while another worked only 66 days. City officials called the behavior a âserious breach of labor obligationsâ and vowed to stop these types of situations.

Im 70, Do I Have A Chance Of Getting A Job - Work It Daily
Im 70, Do I Have A Chance Of Getting A Job - Work It Daily Dear J.T. Dale: I have been retired for more than five years, and have had various temp jobs from time to time. I didn't like my last full-time job, and I haven't found any job since that I really enjoyed. I recently turned 70. Do you think I have any hope of getting a job doing what I enjoy? - Bill J.T.: I guess I'm just an eternal optimist, because I believe we can all find rewarding work if we set the right expectations and search the right way. You start with questions: What do I care about most? How do I want to make a difference? Then you look for jobs that fit into that bigger picture. Do that, and I feel certain you will find something. DALE: Curious, I went to biography.com to look over its list of famous people who will be turning 70 this year. There I found one of my favorite historians, Doris Kearns Goodwin, along with Mick Jagger, John Kerry, Ben Kingsley, and many others. They all bring wonderful energy to their work; however, I'm guessing the real secret of their lasting enthusiasm is that they get wonderful energy from their work. You might be thinking that it's easy for them - they are, after all, highly paid individuals at the tops of their professions. True. However, if Doris Kearns Goodwin were not famous or so highly accomplished, what would she be doing? I bet she'd be teaching at a local community college, or volunteering as a docent at her local historical society, or writing a family history. She'd be joyfully pursuing her passion. Follow the energy. J.T.: One way to discover that energy is through volunteer work, then follow the energy into careers. The other option is to find ways to bring enjoyment to whatever work is available to you. For instance, there's a man in his 70s who works at my grocery store, who told me that when he took the job bagging groceries, he set himself a goal to bring a smile to every customer who passes by. He has certainly achieved his mission with me - he makes me smile every time! © 2012 by King Features Syndicate, Inc. The Single Most Underrated Career Skill Ever Is #8230;
The Single Most Underrated Career Skill Ever Is 8230 PowerPoint. Im leid kidding (It is a strange one, isnt it?)You probably thoughtit was going to something like initiative or creative thinking or interpersonal skills, didnt you?Let me explain.Im usingPowerPoint as a kind of shorthand. I am not really talking about how to bullet a list or bold a word. Im talking about something a little more.What Are PowerPoint Presentations, Really?PowerPoint is really just a tool.When we say PowerPoint today, we mean a presentation. And when we say a presentation, we usually dont mean public speaking. Who gives speeches at work other than the CEO? No, we mean a report, an update, a brief, or a summary.And by all of that, wemean a structured, written communication that combines words, data, and graphics.At the bottom of it all,what we talk about when we talk about PowerPointis our value-add our ideas, our reco mmendations, and our work in a form that is comprehensible.And that, for our careers, is the whole ball game. Without others seeing, understanding, and recognizing our value-add, our careers will be rather short.Great communication skills are the very foundation of career success.The Role of Communication Skills in Your SuccessCommunication is the core enabler of social enterprises like geschftsleben.Being a poor communicator hinders your ability to be understood. It undermines your credibility and makes you less efficient. It even lessens your ability to lead after all, people do not follow those whom they dont understand.The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) conducted a survey in 2014 that asked hiring managers what skills they prioritize when they hire college graduates. The top five skills wereAbility to work in a gruppeAbility to write effectivelyAbility to solve problemsAbility to plan, organize and prioritize workAbility to work with numbers and dataWriti ng effectively (2), solving problems (3), and working with numbers and data (5) are all central to strong communication.The Medium Is the MessageWritten business communication happens via business presentations. PowerPoint is the lingua franca of corporate America.PowerPoint has become how we communicate. We used to use typewritten, one-page memos. Now, we use graphs, tables, pictures, and color. We have adopted the convention of slides to structure our communication.Understanding how to communicate is no longer just about being able to write well although that remains critical or speak clearly. No, the bar has been raised considerably.Needed A Distinct Set of SkillsCreating a successful written presentation requires leveraging a broad group of very different skills, includingthe ability to think in a structured, logical mannerthe abilityto write concisely and clearlythe understanding of numbers and datathe ability to communicate data effectivelyand the appreciation for and abilit y to create greatdesigns.1. Structuring your ideas can be very challenging for many people. It is difficult to do.2. Writing ConciselyOmit needless words. Be clear about what you wish to say. Simplify.3. Data and VisualizationDemonstrate dont justsimply assert. Use facts, and preferably data, to demonstrate. Show data with graphs, charts, and tables. Avoid pie charts.4. When in doubt, be generous The biggest secret to success
When in doubt, be generous The biggest secret to successWhen in doubt, be generous The biggest secret to successWell, today is the day where we wrap up this 10-part series. Have you enjoyed it? I sure hope so. Ive had a blast sharing all this stuff with you.And if you havent checked out Michael Hyatts5 Days to Your Best Year Ever, it has been a sort of unofficial sponsor of this series. Its the best goal-setting program Ive ever done, and this is my third year going through it.I highly recommend it.Click here to learn how to have your best year ever.All right, on with the final lessonLesson 10 Be generousDo you know what the biggest secret to a successful life is?Be generous.Its so simple and yet so easy to ignore. Heres whyWe think that being generous is something we do once we get famous. And thats not how it works at all.A friend of mine just shared thisAnytime I start getting scared of running out of something, I give away something. I have more than enough love, money, work, fri endship, food, time, and energy to share. Always.I agree. The secret to getting more is to give more. The most successful people I know are not hoarders. Quite the opposite, in fact. And heres my belief on thatSuccessful people are not generous because theyre successful. Theyre successful because theyre generous.Certainly, you run across your occasional Scrooges. But in my experience, those people are the exception, not the norm. Thats just what Ive seen in my whole life, so Im not speaking for everyone, obviously.But thats enough experience to convince me of an important lessonWhen in doubt, be generous.When you have an opportunity to get versus give, go ahead and give.Generosity as a growth strategyI remember starting my blog back in 2010. It wasnt growing, people werent reading, and I wasnt having fun.So I decided to shift something. Realizing I wasnt doing my best work, I decided to do the opposite. I was afraid that if I gave away my best writing on my blog, no one would want t o pay me for my best work. But that kind of scarcity thinking wasnt really working. So I made one simple shiftI decided to start giving away my best work for free.Heres what happens when you do that. Two things, actually1. People start to notice when you give your best work away for free.Why? Because its generous. It makes people think, She gave me all this for free? Wow.Not only that, they trust you even more, believing that paying you would bring even greater value.Which brings me to point 22. You do better work.Look. You dont have a ceiling on what youre capable of. You can keep improving.When I started giving away A+ content on my blog, I started writing better content. When the time came to write a book, I was a much better writer.As you give your work away, your capacity to do better work increases. It has to.So thats the simple short lesson here todayDo your best work for free right now. Give it all away. Jeff GoinsBut wait a second, Jeff, dont you say to never work for free? Thats right. InReal Artists Dont Starve, one of the rules is just that. Dont work for free.But heres the catchYou need to always work for something, and that something doesnt have to be money.When you share a photo on Instagram, you are practicing in public. You are putting your work on display for people to see. You arent working for free. Youre earning peoples attention.The same principle applies when you write on your blog for free. Youre working for email subscribers (or at least, you should be).So, yes. Value your work. But always be generous with it. Give it away in the places where people will pay attention to you.That doesnt mean you have to give all your work away or that you cant charge for what you do at the same time. It just means that when in doubt, its almost always a good rule to be generous.Why?Because, as my friend said, it sets you free from fear. It makes you a better person.Generosity sets you free from fear. Jeff GoinsSo, pay for that friends lunch today when y ou both awkwardly look at the check. Spend some that extra bit of time (in spite of feeling busy) with someone who is hurting. Give it all away.Ive always loved this Annie Dillard quote. Its about writing, but really, I think it applies to any of us who have a gift to share with the world spend it all, shoot it, play it, lose it, all, right away, every time. Do not hoard what seems good for a later place in the book or for another book give it, give it all, give it now. The impulse to save something good for a better place later is the signal to spend it now. Something more will arise for later, something better. These things fill from behind, from beneath, like well water. Similarly, the impulse to keep to yourself what you have learned is not only shameful, it is destructive. Anything you do not give freely and abundantly becomes lost to you. You open your safe and find ashes.And when you feel fear telling you this is not a good idea, remember thats what fear does. It tries to kee p you quiet. Anything you hold on to eventually turns to dust.So, what are you going to give away today?Thisarticlefirst appeared on Goins, Writer. You can listen to the audio version of this lessonhere.
